The December 2000 Relix issue includes our Year End Special cover story. The issue features “Phish Out Of Water”, a recount of a pivotal year in the band’s evolution. Rumors of winter hibernations and a potential band breakup swirled around Phish. That didn’t stop the band from putting on a “phan-tastic” bash in Vegas. The year saw new venues played, the release of a new album, a documentary film, numerous magazine articles and two tours. Each of these events made 2000 a significant year in Phish history.
