Ken Kesey, author of One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest and creator of the Merry Pranksters, designed the Acid Test visual culture. The "Can You Pass The Acid Test?" poster represents the question posed to San Francisco's emerging counterculture: Are you ready for this experience?

This "Can You Pass the Acid Test" color lithograph, designed by Norman Hartweg and Paul Foster, is hand-signed in gold ink at the bottom right by Acid Test founder Ken Kesey. It is professionally matted/framed (no glass) and 20" x 25".

The Acid Test Graduation, held on October 31, 1966, represented the last of Kesey's Acid Tests. Diplomas were awarded to participants in previous parties, acknowledging the quasi-educational nature of the experience. Grateful Dead performances were central to these events, and Kesey's visual designs for the Acid Tests became iconic documents of the moment psychedelic culture crystallized.

A color lithograph by Kesey of Acid Test imagery is particularly significant—it represents Kesey's direct artistic engagement with the visual culture he helped create.
