Recorded at the Ryman before its 1994 renovation returned it to active use as a concert venue, these performances capture Harris and her crack acoustic unit on hallowed ground, in a room where the air itself carries the weight of country music history. The Nash Ramblers, featuring Sam Bush and Roy Huskey Jr. among others, brought a grassroots energy that reconnected Harris to the high lonesome tradition she'd long championed alongside Gram Parsons.
