Nearly two decades between albums of originals would break most bands, but the Stones arrive here without apology, with Mick, Keith, and Ronnie sounding like they have something to prove. Recorded with producer Andrew Watt, the album also carries the weight of being the last studio work featuring Charlie Watts, whose drumming appears on several tracks alongside contributions from his successor, Steve Jordan.

Hackney Diamonds, the hugely anticipated new album by The Rolling Stones, is released on October 20th. Following the release of 2016's Grammy Award winning Blue & Lonesome, which featured brilliant versions of blues tracks that helped shape their sound, Hackney Diamonds marks the band’s first studio album of original material since 2005's A Bigger Bang.
