Wildflowers was always meant to be a double album. Petty fought hard to release it that way in 1994, but the label pushed back, and what became one of his most intimate and celebrated records was trimmed down to a single disc. The songs that didn't make the cut sat in the vault for over two decades, finally seeing the light here, completing the vision Petty had from the start.

The 2 CD edition contains the original 1994 Wildflowers album (remastered) with 15 tracks on Disc 1. Disc 2 contains All The Rest, 10 songs from the Wildflowers sessions that were left off the album, 5 of which are previously unreleased.
