Steve Winwood was just 22 when Traffic reconvened to make this record, and the acoustic folk sensibility he and Jim Capaldi brought to the title track marked a genuine turning point away from the psychedelic flash of their earlier work. The Fillmore East recordings capture the band at full stretch, road-tested and confident, showing how naturally these studio arrangements translated to the live setting where Traffic always did some of their best work.

After his short-lived Blind Faith project, Steve Winwood re-formed Traffic with Wood and Capaldi and released this 1970 classic. But what's really special about this reissue are the unreleased tracks: The songs I Just Want You to Know and Sittin' Here Thinkin' of My Love, and Glad and Who Knows What Tomorrow May Bring recorded live at the Fillmore East in November 1970!
