Warren Haynes was already a decade deep into his role as a guitar architect for the Allman Brothers Band and Gov't Mule when this 1993 debut arrived, but *Tales of Ordinary Madness* made clear he had plenty to say on his own terms. Having Chuck Leavell in the producer's chair connected the record directly to the Southern rock bloodline, and the result holds up as a snapshot of Haynes finding his singular voice outside the ensemble context where he'd made his name.

Tales of Ordinary Madness is the debut solo studio album by Warren Haynes produced by Chuck Leavell. The album was originally released by Megaforce Records in 1993 and remixed and remastered for release in 2026.
