Widespread Panic - October/November 2003 Relix Issue

The October/November 2003 Relix issue features our Widespread Panic cover story and much more! Much has transpired with Widespread Panic since they last appeared on our cover, in April of 2002. Having lost founding member and guitarist Michael Houser to pancreatic cancer in August of 2002, the band had to prove to themselves—and fans—that they could continue on. Not only did they soldier through with the help of new member George McConnell, they recorded a stellar album, Ball, in the process. John Swenson revisits the band to talk about life, music and the upcoming hiatus. This issue also features a previously unpublished interview with Michael Houser from 1997.
