Little Walter Jacobs essentially invented amplified blues harmonica, and the shadow he cast over Chicago's South and West Sides still stretches across every harp player who came after him. Branch grew up in that tradition directly, studying under both Big Walter Horton and Willie Dixon, which gives this tribute a generational weight that goes well beyond mere homage.
