Vince Herman and Drew Emmett built Leftover Salmon into one of the jam scene's most beloved live acts through relentless touring and a anything-goes approach that threw bluegrass, zydeco, and New Orleans funk into the same blender. Catching them at the Fillmore or their own Salmonfest was a rite of passage for a generation of Colorado mountain kids who grew up on both Bill Monroe and Jerry Garcia.
