Product Details

Conceived in the aftermath of Alan Parsons' engineering work on Pink Floyd's *Dark Side of the Moon*, *I Robot* arrived in 1977 as a remarkably ambitious meditation on artificial intelligence and human obsolescence, drawing on Isaac Asimov's writing for its conceptual spine. Parsons and co-architect Eric Woolfson built a sound that straddled progressive rock, orchestral pop, and early electronic music in ways that still hold up decades later.

Originally released in 1977, I ROBOT is now remastered and includes 5 bonus tracks. I ROBOT also includes a 12 page booklet that contains rare photos and memorabilia.
