Warren Haynes has long treated the bass guitar as a conversation partner rather than a rhythm section footnote, and the Deep End project put that philosophy front and center by rotating in a who's who of low-end legends. Deepest End continues that exploration, capturing the Mule at their most harmonically adventurous, where the blues is a starting point rather than a destination.

By now, the word has spread about Gov't Mule and the Deep End project. The group's indefatigable nature along with it's visceral blues and jazz-based attack has garnered one of rock's most loyal followings. Comprised of original members Warren Haynes (guitar, vocals) and Matt Abts (drums) along with keyboardist Danny Louis, the group continues to break musical ground.
