Released in March 2008, this installment stitches together highlights from Norman, OK (10/11), Houston, TX (10/14), and Baton Rouge, LA (10/16), capturing the effortless interplay and tight improvisation that made 1977 a benchmark year for the Dead.

The release flows through radiant versions of Let It Grow and Sugaree, a stunning Help on the Way → Slipknot! → Franklin’s Tower sequence, and a fluid second set built around Playing in the Band, The Other One, and Terrapin Station. The Bonus Disc expands the experience with the beloved Scarlet Begonias → Fire on the Mountain pairing and more gems from that same week.
