Product Details
Grace Slick's arrival transformed Jefferson Airplane from a promising folk-rock act into the defining voice of San Francisco's Haight-Ashbury moment, and these songs still carry that electricity. Recorded at RCA Studios in Los Angeles in late 1966, the album introduced Slick to a national audience via two songs she brought from her previous band, the Great Society.
Their 1967 breakthrough, along with Sgt. Pepper's THE soundtrack to the Summer of Love. Bonus tracks include mono single versions of Somebody to Love and White Rabbit; In the Morning; J.P.P. Mc Step B. Blues; Go to Her, and Come Back Baby .
