The Johnny Cash Show aired on ABC at the height of the counterculture era, and Cash used that prime-time platform to bridge worlds that rarely shared a stage, booking Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, Louis Armstrong, and Derek and the Dominos alongside country legends. From the Summer of 1969 through the final show in March 1971, the Johnny Cash TV Show established Johnny as a true artist and exposed America to an eclectic array of musical talent.
