Led Zeppelin – Led Zeppelin IV: Remastered Super Deluxe Box Set (2-LP Vinyl + 2-CD)
Product Details
Released in 1971 without a title or band name on the cover, Led Zeppelin IV remains one of rock's great acts of defiance, a direct response to critics who had dismissed the band's earlier work. The record houses "When the Levee Breaks," tracked in the stairwell of Headley Grange with Bonham's drums miked from two floors up, producing one of the most imitated drum sounds in recorded history. This 2014 remaster, overseen by Jimmy Page, pairs the original album with companion audio drawn from the sessions.
In 1968, John Bonham, John Paul Jones, Jimmy Page and Robert Plant formed Led Zeppelin, one of the most influential, innovative and successful groups in modern music, having sold more than 300 million albums worldwide. The band rose from the ashes of The Yardbirds, when Page brought in Plant, Bonham and Jones to tour as The New Yardbirds. In 1969, Led Zeppelin released its self-titled debut. It marked the beginning of a 12-year reign, during which the group was widely considered to be the biggest and most innovative rock band in the world.
