Product Details

Lowell George had already made his mark as a member of the Mothers of Invention when he formed Little Feat in 1969 with Bill Payne, and their debut captured something genuinely strange and Southern-fried that Los Angeles had no real category for. Songs like "Willin'" and "Truck Stop Girl" introduced a sensibility rooted in roadhouse grit and delta mud that would quietly reshape what American rock could sound like in the 1970s.

Two CDs. Next in the lineup of foundational Little Feat albums to get the Rhino Deluxe treatment is the band's 1971 self-titled debut album. Releasing as a 2LP vinyl set exclusively for RSD 2026, it includes the original album, AAA-cut from original master tape, alongside a bonus disc of rare previously unreleased alternate versions and outtakes from their early recording sessions.
