Les Claypool has always operated in his own universe, and this 2014 reimagining of the Willy Wonka soundtrack is one of the stranger, more committed detours in his already uncommonly weird catalog. Claypool's rubbery bass and the band's signature psychedelic funk drag Roald Dahl's world somewhere between a carnival and a bad trip, which, honestly, feels exactly right.

Primus and the Chocolate Factory Deluxe has been remixed in 5.1 surround sound and includes a bonus live CD.
