Product Details

Released at the height of the folk revival, *Parsley, Sage, Rosemary and Thyme* found Paul Simon stretching well beyond the acoustic confines of his early work, weaving in orchestration, classical guitar, and studio experimentation that pushed the boundaries of what a folk record could be. Tracks like "Scarborough Fair/Canticle" and "The 59th Street Bridge Song (Feelin' Groovy)" became cornerstones of a generation's soundtrack, still resonant decades on.

Considered the duo's first masterpiece, this gem from 1966 had a major effect on the folk scene. To get it right, they spent 3 months in the recording studio, which was unheard of at the time.
