Taj Mahal spent the early part of his career dismantling the boundaries between Delta blues, Caribbean music, and R&B, and his mid-70s Warner Bros. run captured that restless curiosity at full stretch. Those three studio albums found him deepening his pan-African musical vision at a time when most of his peers were playing it straight, making this compilation an essential document of one of American roots music's great explorers.

Reissue of this out-of-print collection from the Blues icon. Taj Mahal issued three great albums on the Warner Bros. Label in the mid-1970s. Music Fuh Ya, Brothers and Evolution (The Most Recent). This set also features seven rare live tracks unique to this package.
