Alvin Lee was one of the fastest and most fluid guitarists of the late '60s British blues explosion, and Ten Years After's scorching set at Woodstock in 1969 introduced them to a generation of American rock fans who hadn't yet caught up to what was happening in the Fillmore circuit.
