Dr. Dog - July 2008 Relix Issue
The July 2009 Relix issue features our Dr. Dog cover story and more! With little ambition for the limelight and no one but themselves to please, Dr. Dog had quietly become America's next great band. Although they had been making music together for a decade, success seemed to have crept up on the members of Pennsylvania's Dr. Dog. Over the few years before the publication of this issue, the band had grown a fanbase that includes an impressive collection of famous fans, including Wilco's Jeff Tweedy, Lou Reed and Jim James of My Morning Jacket. Jeff Miller checks in with the band in Los Angeles and explains why.
This issue also includes articles and features on The Jammys, Phish, Warren Haynes, Disco Biscuits, Keller Williams, The Roots, Larry Campbell, Seun Kuti, Chad Stokes of State Radio and Dispatch, Sean Kelly of The Samples, Phil and Friends, The New Mastersounds, Trey Anastasio, and more!
