Paper Wheels arrived at an interesting moment in Trey Anastasio's solo trajectory, bringing back the full 3.0-era Trey Anastasio Band lineup that had been road-testing these songs on the road. For fans who had watched TAB evolve through various configurations over the years, the record captured a band that had grown genuinely tight from touring, with the horns and rhythm section locked in the way only extended live work can produce.
12 track new album produced by Trey Anastasio and longtime collaborator Bryce Goggin, mixed by Elliot Scheiner (Steely Dan, Van Morrison), Paper Wheels was recorded last year at The Barn, the Phish founding guitarist's famed Jeffersonville, VT farmhouse-turned-rehearsal space/recording studio.
Available in 3 configurations: CD, 2LP, and a deluxe limited edition boxset comprising 180 gram 45 RPM 2x LP splatter vinyl and a die cut gatefold package with six unique sleeves designed by Matt Taylor
