Rick Griffin didn't just draw posters for the Dead — he built the visual language of the whole scene. The Aoxomoxoa lettering, the Flying Eyeball, the "Griffin-Stoner" surf strips that predated his psychedelic work by half a decade — it's all here, straight from the estate. This collection covers the full arc: vintage reissue prints, hand-numbered limited editions, blotter art, stickers, and cast-bronze sculptures translating his 2D iconography into something you can hold. Full Spectrum OXO and The Who Beetle lead the current drops, with new pressings added as the estate releases them.
Who Was Rick Griffin?
A California surf illustrator turned Haight-Ashbury poster artist, Griffin was one of the "Big Five" San Francisco psychedelic poster designers alongside Mouse, Kelley, Moscoso, and Wilson. He designed the Aoxomoxoa cover for the Grateful Dead and the original Human Be-In poster that helped kick off the Summer of Love. Browse more of the era's art in our Grateful Dead poster collection and the Relix Art Gallery.
