Fab Moretti formed Little Joy in Los Angeles with Brazilian singer-songwriter Rodrigo Amarante of Los Hermanos and Binki Shapiro, and the trio recorded this debut in Brazil and California. Amarante's Latin pop sensibility gives the record a warmth that cuts against the New York rock world Moretti came up in, resulting in something genuinely unhurried and personal.
