In loving memory of Jay Ceballos — one of Nevada County's true hometown heroes. Jay was a masterful heirloom cannabis cultivator, an incredibly brilliant renaissance man, and a great mandolin picker.
Jay and Mary first connected with David Grisman after coming backstage at the Great American Music Hall in 1976, and they became dear friends and family ever since. Many a David Grisman Quintet show and recording session was fueled by Jay's incredible herb, and Jay and Mary made friends with legions of folks around the country through their passion for music and their supremely high-caliber artisanship. Over the years, Jay's legendary weed was enjoyed by the likes of Jerry Garcia, John Hartford, Willie Nelson, Tim O'Brien, Jerry Douglas, Sam Bush, and Merle Haggard.
A portion of proceeds from the sale of this shirt go directly to Jay's wife, Mary.
