A 6-CD box set featuring two complete, previously unreleased performances from the Jerry Garcia Band and Bob Weir & Rob Wasserman, recorded live during the acclaimed Fall 1989 East Coast tour. Captured by John Cutler to 2-track DAT and mastered by Joe Gastwirt, the collection presents over five and a half hours of music from two consecutive nights — September 5th at the Hartford Civic Center in Hartford, CT and September 6th at Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, NY.

Each night, the acoustic duo of Bob Weir and Rob Wasserman opened the show before the Jerry Garcia Band took the stage for two full electric sets — featuring the classic JGB lineup of Jerry Garcia, Melvin Seals, John Kahn, David Kemper, Gloria Jones, and Jaclyn LaBranch. Highlights across the two nights include Weir/Wasserman's adventurous takes on "Desolation Row," "Looks Like Rain," and "Heaven Help the Fool," and JGB standouts like "Don't Let Go," "Forever Young," "Mission in the Rain," and "Tangled Up in Blue." Cover art by Stanley Mouse, with liner notes by Blair Jackson.

Note: This collection contains audio with some sonic imperfections inherent to the original recordings, most notably distortion on Jerry's vocal during "Cats Under the Stars" — consistent with what audiences experienced in person.
