Beggars Banquet marked a pivot point, the moment the Stones shed psychedelia and planted their feet back in the Delta blues and country roots that would define their classic run through Exile on Main St. Recorded in 1968 with Jimmy Miller producing for the first time, the album introduced "Sympathy for the Devil" and "Street Fighting Man" to a world that wasn't quite ready for either.

Bespoke special SACD edition of Beggars Banquet 50th Anniversary release, adopted from the special vinyl edition of BB50 sized to a 7" package. Contains 2 SACDs, Flexi Disc in printed sleve with Mick Jagger phone interview 1968. Printed replica packshots of 2 Japanese 7" single sleeves ("Jumpin' Jack Flash," "Street Fighting Man") and maintains original Japanese wrap in poly bag.
