The French duo of Nicolas Godin and Jean-Benoît Dunckel had already rewired expectations for electronic pop with *Moon Safari*, but *Talkie Walkie* found them stripping back to something warmer and more intimate, favoring analog warmth and melodic directness over studio maximalism. Released in 2004, it marked a return to the lush, unhurried atmospherics that made them essential listening for a generation raised on Stereolab and kosmische musik.
Talkie Walkie is the fourth full-length album by French music duo Air. Rhino will be releasing reissues on heavyweight, black vinyl, remastered and with all original artwork.
