Product Details

Released in 1973, *Burnin'* was the last Wailers album to feature Peter Tosh and Bunny Wailer as full members, making it a document of the original group at full creative force. Eric Clapton's 1974 cover of "I Shot the Sheriff" introduced Marley's writing to a rock audience that would fuel reggae's global rise, but the source material here hits with an urgency no cover has matched.

Burnin' was the second album Bob Marley recorded for Island Records. The album mixes Marley's religious militancy and anthemic style and features two of his biggest hits, 'Get Up Stand Up' and 'I Shot The Sheriff.' Now available on 180 gram vinyl in original packaging.
