Released in 1972, *Talking Book* marked the moment Stevie Wonder took full creative control of his music, negotiating an unprecedented deal with Motown that gave him ownership of his masters and the freedom to write, produce, and arrange everything himself. The result was a record that bridged funk, rock, and soul in ways that genuinely hadn't been done before, with Jeff Beck appearing on guitar and Wonder playing nearly every instrument. This pressing restores a piece of that original vision, Braille and all.

Talking Book is the fifteenth album by Stevie Wonder. 'You Are the Sunshine of My Life', hit #1 on Billboard's Hot 100 and earned Stevie his first Grammy Award. The album's first single, 'Superstition', also hit #1 on Billboard's Hot 100 and Hot Soul Singles charts. This reissue is newly remastered from original analog. The package features Braille inscriptions originally available only on the album's rare first pressing.
