Product Details

Recorded at Slane Castle and Windmill Lane Studios in 1984, this was the album where U2 handed the production reins to Brian Eno and Daniel Lanois, a pivot that pushed Bono and company away from the post-punk directness of *War* and toward the atmospheric, textured sound they'd carry through *The Joshua Tree* and beyond. "Bad," in particular, became a live touchstone, its extended improvisational quality making it a natural fit for the band's increasingly expansive concert performances.

Vinyl LP pressing. Digitally remastered edition of the Irish band's 1984 breakthrough album, released to coincide with the 25th Anniversary of it's original release. This new edition was remastered by band's guitarist, the Edge, and contains a 24 page booklet. Features the hits 'Pride (In the Name of Love)', 'Bad' and the title track.
