Sharp, a pioneering guitarist and composer from the 80s downtown NYC scene, has built a prolific, genre-spanning body of work spanning Carbon, his blues band Terraplane, string quartets, operas, and releases on his own zOaR label. Motzer, a genre-bending guitarist, improviser, and producer, has worked with David Sylvian, Jaki Liebezeit, Ursula Rucker, and Percy Jones, releasing solo and collaborative work on his 1k Recordings label.
