Zhonu Moon Mzali traveled there not as an outsider looking in, but as someone tracing a lineage, and what he brought back reflects that respect for the source.

Mangala is the new project by Afro-Australian producer and multi-instrumentalist, Zhonu “Nui” Moon Mzali (Future Roots/Digital Afrika).

The journey began in 2024, when his search for new sounds and African roots brought him to Bamako, Mali.
