Shakedown Street (1978) is the Grateful Dead at their funkiest—where the tie-dye meets the disco ball. Released on Arista Records and produced by Lowell George of Little Feat, the album finds the band stretching their sound into groove-heavy territory with swagger and a wink. The title track struts with streetwise funk, “Fire on the Mountain” burns slow and hypnotic, and “I Need a Miracle” brings pure rock attitude. Shakedown Street is loose, colorful, and full of life—a danceable detour through the Dead’s wild late-’70s spirit.

Framing Details
  • Our Shadow Box Float frame creates a stunning 3-dimensional effect by placing your album on a pedestal within a shadow-box frame. This style allows the artwork to appear floating inside a deeper-set frame. The pedestal sits on 4-ply white mat board and allows for a 1.5" border from the artwork to the inside of the frame.
  • Side One (or Side A) of the vinyl record label is always displayed facing front. On Double LPs, Side Three (or Side C) is also facing front.

  • We provide free shipping to all continental U.S. orders. Please allow 5-10 business days for your order to ship. You'll receive an email with a FedEx tracking number once we ship your order.
Returns
  • Because each vinyl record is custom sourced and framed just for you, we are unable accept refunds. Once your order is submitted, we begin producing your artwork. For this reason we are unable to cancel or make changes to your order after 2 hours.
  • If your order arrives with any imperfections or damage from transit, just email us at marketplace@relix.com showing a picture of the damage to product and a picture of the package. *Please send a picture of the package even if it doesn't appear damaged. We'll repair or replace at absolutely no cost to you.
