LaMP - The Relix Session (Limited Edition 2-LP Vinyl)

LaMP, featuring Russ Lawton on drums, Scott Metzger on guitar, and Ray Paczkowski on keyboards, deliver the latest release in the Relix Sessions Vinyl Series, recorded live at Garcia’s Chicago in Chicago, IL on April 4–5, 2025. Marking the first Relix Sessions release from the new Garcia’s Chicago, these performances were captured just weeks after the venue’s grand opening – channeling fresh-room energy into deep-groove interplay, melodic guitar lines, and rich keyboard tones that move from tight pocket to open-ended exploration.

This limited edition 2-LP is capped at 500 copies and presents LaMP exactly as they play: lean, lively, and song-first. Alongside standout originals, the set tips its hat to key influences with two inspired covers – “Allah Uya” by Ali Farka Touré and “Ramblin” by Ornette Coleman. Mixed and mastered by Jesse Lauter (Tedeschi Trucks Band, Neal Francis)
