Boise fell in the opening week of the summer ’99 tour – between Portland, Oregon and Mountain View, California, placing it far apart from the rest of the tour and squarely out of the way for everyone except locals and the most intrepid travelers.

The result was a snooze-you-lose show that produced what is still the longest and most exploratory “AC/DC Bag” to date on side A, linked via an interstellar vacuum and effect-laden space jam to a standout “Gumbo” on side B with a funky nod to Another One Bites The Dust. This unique two-song combination yielded a non-stop, nearly 38-minute chunk of must-hear Phish. ‘LP on LP’ 08 was recorded by Paul Languedoc and mixed from multitrack by Jon Altschiller.

TRACKLIST

Side A

AC/BC Bag - 24:15

Side B

Gumbo - 13:32

UPC: 850014859695
Label: Jemp Records
Release Date: 11.20.26
Format: LP Vinyl
