On June 15 and 16, 1996, Golden Gate Park transformed into something far greater than a concert venue. The Beastie Boys and the Milarepa Fund brought together 100,000 people for the inaugural Tibetan Freedom Concert — the largest US benefit show since Live Aid — raising over $800,000 for Tibetan human rights and igniting a generation of activist rock.

Three decades later, this 88-page zine captures the spirit, the chaos, and the beauty of those two unforgettable days. Packed with rare archival photography from the Retro Photo Archive, Volume Two, Issue One is a love letter to a moment when music and conscience collided on an enormous scale — and the world paid attention.

From the sprawling crowds at the Polo Fields to the artists who gave their voices to a cause, every page is a document of cultural history. Whether you were there or wish you had been, this zine puts you right in the middle of it.
