Product Details

Omaha's underground scene in the late '90s was quietly building something, and The Faint were at the center of it, channeling Depeche Mode's cold synth menace into something rawer and more confrontational. When Danse Macabre dropped in 2001 on Saddle Creek, it arrived alongside labelmates like Cursive and Bright Eyes but carved its own lane entirely, helping inspire a wave of bands who'd soon fill clubs with sweaty, art-damaged dance floors.

Digitally remastered and expanded deluxe three disc (two CDs + DVD) edition includes a bonus CD containing six non album tracks plus a DVD that features videos, archival footage and more. 2001 album from the Omaha, Nebraska-based Indie Rock band Danse Macabre remains a seminal release that is credited with helping to launch the Dance-Punk movement of the early 2000s.
