Tracey Thorn and Ben Watt's return after an 18-year recording hiatus with 2023's "Fuse" reminded longtime fans just how instinctively the duo translates melancholy and electronic texture into something deeply human. The BBC's Maida Vale studios have hosted countless landmark sessions across decades of British music, and capturing these "Fuse"-era songs in that setting strips them back to their essentials, offering a more intimate window into a comeback that felt genuinely earned.

Everything But The Girl recorded four tracks at the BBC’s famous Maida Vale studios. “Run A Red Light,” “Single,” and “When You Mess Up,” were first broadcast on Gideon Coe’s BBC 6 Music show, whilst “Nothing Left To Lose,” was first heard on Jo Whiley’s BBC Radio 2 show. This 12” EP is cut at 45 RPM on 180g black vinyl and includes an 8-page photobook, for Record Store Day 2024.
