Machine Head – Unto The Locus (Dark Green Marbled LP Vinyl)

Oakland's Machine Head have spent three decades proving that heaviness and ambition aren't mutually exclusive, and Unto the Locust, originally released in 2011, sits near the peak of that argument. Robb Flynn and company leaned hard into progressive structures and choral arrangements here, pushing their thrash roots into genuinely unexpected territory.
