Candomblé, the Afro-Brazilian religion carried across the Atlantic through the Yoruba, Fon, and Bantu diaspora, has kept its ceremonial rhythms alive for centuries despite sustained colonial suppression. This package bridges archive and new commission, placing sacred batá and atabaque traditions in conversation with contemporary producers working inside and around the tradition. It's a document of living culture, not preservation for its own sake.

Available as a Bundle 2LP+Book (English, Portuguese & French). Featuring DJ Anderson do Paraiso, DJ Sandrinho, Jonas Albrecht, Xexa, Felinto, Gabi Guedes & Sávio de Queiroz, Vincent Taeger, Kimia. The project "Candomblé: Sacred Rhythms in Brazil", articulated around the publication of a book and a double LP combining original sound archives with newly commissioned compositions, seeks to honour this tradition by documenting it's historical foundations while offering a critical and artistic reflection on it's contemporary transformations and future trajectories.
