For the listener who still reaches for the horn section first: this page collects Chicago vinyl records and CDs available through the Relix store, spanning studio LPs, greatest-hits compilations, and a live set pressed across multiple discs.
The catalog here covers a wide stretch of the band's output. On the CD side you'll find The Very Best Of: Only The Beginning on a 2xCD set, Greatest Hits 1982-1989, If You Leave Me Now and Other Hits, IX: Greatest Hits Expanded on CD, and the sprawling live At The John F. Kennedy Center For The Perf across a 3xCD set, all on Rhino. Vinyl options include Chicago II pressed at 180g on Friday Music, Chicago X (50th Anniversary) on translucent gold vinyl from Friday Music, Greatest Hits 1982-1989 on sea blue vinyl, IX: Greatest Hits (Expanded Edition) on 2xLP, and the same Kennedy Center performance spread across a 3xLP set from Rhino.
Why buy from Relix
Relix has been writing about rock, jazz-rock, and the artists who built the jam world since 1974. That history shapes what ends up in this store: releases worth owning as physical objects, not just catalog filler. The store also carries the Relix Sessions series, live recordings produced by Relix and pressed to vinyl on the Relix Vinyl label, alongside titles from labels like Rhino and Friday Music that take pressing quality seriously. Every title here is something the staff would actually put on.
All records and CDs in this collection are new and sealed. Pre-order titles display a street date on the product page and ship when the label releases them. CDs ship in protective packaging.
If Chicago is the entry point, there is more to explore. The Live Vinyl Albums collection goes deep on concert recordings pressed to wax. Rock Vinyl Records covers the broader electric landscape. If the color of the pressing matters as much as what is on it, Colored Vinyl Records and Limited Variants is the place to look. And for listeners who follow the horn-driven groove into other territory, Funk, Soul and R&B Vinyl Records is worth a browse.
