For listeners who take Randy Newman seriously: the satirists, the soundtrack devotees, the people who have argued about Good Old Boys at the record store counter. This page collects his catalog in vinyl and CD, from early Rhino pressings to a Walt Disney Records picture disc and a Record Store Day Black Friday release.
The titles here span several decades of Newman's output. Good Old Boys and Sail Away are both available as Rhino vinyl LPs. Trouble In Paradise appears three ways: a Rhino vinyl LP, a Rhino expanded 2xCD, and Trouble In Paradise: Demos as an RSD Black Friday vinyl LP. Best Of Randy Newman is pressed on blue vinyl as a 2xLP. The Best Of Randy Newman is available on CD. And for the film side of his work, Disney and Pixar's Toy Story 5 (Original Soundtrack) is here as both a picture disc vinyl LP and a CD from Walt Disney Records.
Why buy from Relix
Relix has covered the intersection of American music, craft, and culture since 1974. That history shapes what ends up in this store: records that reward close listening, pressings worth owning rather than streaming. The Relix Sessions series, live recordings produced by Relix and pressed to vinyl on the Relix Vinyl label, reflects the same standard. When we stock a catalog title, it is because it belongs in a collection, not because an algorithm surfaced it.
All records are new and sealed. Pre-order titles display a street date on the product page and ship when the label releases them. Vinyl ships in protective packaging designed for LPs. CDs ship in protective packaging.
If this page has you thinking about related shelves, the store has more to browse: Rock Vinyl Records covers the wider electric canon, Americana, Folk and Country Vinyl Records goes deep on the roots side, Colored Vinyl Records and Limited Variants is the place for pressings like the blue Best Of 2xLP and the Toy Story 5 picture disc, and Live Vinyl Albums and Records is there when the studio version is not enough.
