For listeners who have followed Katie Crutchfield from the raw bedroom recordings of Cerulean Salt through the wide-open Americana of Saint Cloud and beyond, this page gathers Waxahatchee vinyl records and CDs in one place.
The collection covers nine titles across both formats. On vinyl: Saint Cloud LP on Merge Records, Cerulean Salt LP pressed on blue vinyl by Don Giovanni Records, Out In The Storm LP on Merge Records, and the Great Thunder EP 12-inch on Merge Records. On CD: Tigers Blood on Anti-, Great Thunder CD and Saint Cloud CD on Merge Records, Cerulean Salt CD on Don Giovanni Records, and Out In The Storm CD on Merge Records. The blue pressing of Cerulean Salt is the standout variant here, worth noting for anyone building a physical collection around Crutchfield's catalog.
Why buy from Relix
Relix has covered the intersection of roots music, songwriting, and the broader American underground since 1974. That history informs how we stock the store: we carry records that matter to the audience we write for, not whatever moves volume. Waxahatchee fits naturally alongside the Americana, folk, and indie worlds Relix has documented across five decades. The store also carries the Relix Sessions series, live recordings produced by Relix and pressed to vinyl on the Relix Vinyl label, for listeners who want something closer to the live experience that has always been central to this magazine's coverage. Every title on this page was selected because it belongs in the conversation, not to fill a slot.
All records are new and sealed. Pre-order titles display a street date and ship when the label releases them. Vinyl ships in protective packaging designed for LPs. CDs ship in protective packaging.
If Waxahatchee is an entry point, there is more to explore. The Americana, Folk and Country Vinyl Records collection covers the broader roots world Crutchfield's recent work inhabits. For the indie rock side of her catalog, Indie Rock and Pop Vinyl and CDs is the right next stop. Collectors chasing specific pressings should browse Colored Vinyl Records and Limited Variants, where the blue Cerulean Salt pressing fits alongside other notable variants. And for anyone whose interest in physical music runs toward documented live performances, Live Vinyl Albums and Records rounds out the picture.
