Product Details

Albert King played left-handed on a guitar strung for a right-handed player, never restringing it, which gave his bends a tension and ferocity that nobody else could replicate. His influence runs deep through the work of Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix, and Eric Clapton, all of whom openly credited him. Catching King live was the real education, where that Flying V and that voice could fill a room like nothing else.

Albert Nelson was an American guitarist and singer who is often regarded as one of the greatest and most influential blues guitarists of all time. He was nicknamed "The Velvet Bulldozer" because of his smooth singing and large size - he stood 6 ft 4 in. King was inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame in 1983. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2013. In 2023, he was ranked number 22 on Rolling Stone's 250 Greatest Guitarists of All Time.
