Alice In Chains – Sap (CD)

Tucked between *Facelift* and *Dirt*, this 1992 acoustic EP caught a lot of people off guard, revealing a quieter, more vulnerable side of a band the world had filed under heavy. With contributions from Ann Wilson and Chris Cornell, *Sap* stands as one of the more quietly essential documents of the Seattle scene, a reminder that the writers behind some of the era's darkest riffs could also strip everything down and still hold the room.
