Seattle's heaviest exports proved they could hit just as hard without a single distorted riff. Recorded for MTV in April 1996, the Unplugged session captured Alice In Chains at a crossroads, with Layne Staley making one of his final public appearances before years of seclusion. The raw intimacy of that night elevated songs like "Rooster" and "Down in a Hole" into something genuinely devastating.
