Alunah & Samavayo – Embers of Belief (Splatter LP Vinyl)

Two heavy psych institutions from different corners of Europe, Birmingham's Alunah and Berlin's Samavayo, joining forces makes a certain kind of elemental sense. Heavy Psych Sounds has built its catalog around exactly this kind of cross-continental heaviness, and a collaboration LP pressed on splatter vinyl feels like the right vessel for music that exists somewhere between doom-tinged riff worship and hypnotic groove.
