Product Details

Released in 2006, *Back to Black* marked a sharp turn toward classic American soul and British girl-group sounds, with producer Mark Ronson and the Dap-Kings providing a backdrop that felt simultaneously vintage and urgent. Winehouse wrote or co-wrote every track, channeling personal heartbreak into arrangements that owed as much to Motown and Phil Spector as to anything on contemporary radio.

Amy Winehouse brings you her second album, BACK TO BLACK, which is a truly incredible album almost beyond description. The album combines a strong, jazzy vocal style with often frank lyrical content recounting tales of love and loss, Winehouse is a truly talented songwriter with a good ear for melody. Featuring the single "You Know I'm No Good."
